I am a full time mother, work fulltime and go to school part time.
I have always been interested in pursuing photography but i have zero experience. I know time will be an issue but besides that I am financially unable to attend additional classes or buy the equipment needed to pursue my interests even if i decided to teach myself.

What are other ways I may be able to go about pursuing my interests, besides having to apply for courses at a community college or something?

I want to get into photography. I just want a camera that can open the door for me. I want to spend about 200. I want a digital slr camera but they are too expensive. Is there a nice digital camera to get me in the door? Then if i decide that i really want to venture on then i can invest in a more expensive high quality camera. What would u suggest?

I’m taking an intro to photography class and need a 35mm camera, it has to be one where I can adjust the lense. This is my senior year and it’s just an elective I’m taking for fun to fill some misc credits so I’m not looking to spend much money. I have seen some older ones on ebay for like under $25, would that be a good camera? Also, I’m probably gonna go through ebay but was wondering if any local stores would have am inexpensive camera like this such as a wolf camera or something like that. I guess I’m interested in any input as far as brands or where to get one. Like I said, I’m a broke student and this is just one class not my major so not looking to spend much.

I am creating a poster and a website for a photo competition. I am looking for some commonly used symbols in photography that I might be able to use as graphics. Are there any such symbols? Like, anything commonly recognizable for F Stop, Shutter Speed, Exposure, Aperture? Or are all these just written out? For example, designing a Math booklet, I might use different symbols like +, -, x, *,%, etc. Thanks for any help!

I have a budget of about $650, and i want to have a nice DSLR for serisous photography. Im stuck between the Nikon D60 and the Canon Rebel Xti. I did not like the Nikon D40 because of the poor picture quality (6.1 mega pixel). But the D60 has 10.2. What camera should i choose and why?
is the Nikon D60 a semi-professional camera?
